The Hope Summit Bank Relay for Life Team is sponsoring the first annual Miss Hempstead County Relay For Life Beauty Pageant on Saturday, Apr. 21 at 4 p.m. in the Klipsch Auditorium. All proceeds will benefit the American Cancer Society.

Pageant categories include Baby Miss 0-11 months, Toddler Miss 12-23 months, Tiny Miss 2-3 years, Little Miss- 4-6 years, Petite Miss 7-9 years, Young Miss 10-12 years, Teen Miss 13-15 years, Jr. Miss 16-18 and Miss 19-21 years.

All Beauty Winners will receive a Crown, Sash, and Trophy. Runner’s up will receive a Trophy(number of alternates in each division will be decided according to the number of entries received.) Photogenic Winners will receive a Trophy or Frame. Best Dress Winners will receive a Trophy. People’s Choice Winner will receive a crown (the contestant with the most monetary votes.) Contestants not receiving an award will receive a participation medal. Winning queens are invited to walk in crown and sash at the Relay for Life in Hope.

This is a non-profit fund-raising event. Entry and admission fees go toward awards, advertisements, and other productions expenses. All profits made above production cost will be donated to the American Cancer Society via the Relay for Life Event.
