Glory Bound Quartet - John Ward, Karen Bridges, Matt Russell and Marsha McWilliams

Harvest Baptist Church is inviting the public to come hear the Glory Bound Quartet this Sunday night, Feb. 26,  at 6 p.m. The church is located at Hwy 73 west 1 1/2 miles off Hwy 278 north of Hope.

Glory Bound Quartet is an area group and was founded in the summer of 2009 by member Matt Russell. Matt says he always wanted to form a quartet since he was 12 years old.

Glorybound has had the chance to sing at some local churches and other locations around Arkansas and Lousiana.

The group includes Matt Russell, John Ward, Karen Bridges and Marsha McWilliams.

Matt sings tenor for the group. He and his wife, Ashlee, were married in March 2009 and live in Lewisville. Matt works at Smith Funeral Home in Stamps as a Funeral Director.

John is the lead singer for the group with years of experience in a quartet. He has two daughters and a granddaughter. John lives in Falcon, Arkansas.

Karen, from Magnolia, sings harmony. She's a Registered Nurse for Home Health and DudneyWood Assitant Living. Karen's husband Mark works for the Magnolia Police Department. They have two children.

Marsha live in Waldo and sings alto. She also works for DudneyWood Assistant Living in Magnolia. Marsha has two children.

The group also credits Janis Riley with keeping them straight and handling CD sales and bookings. They say she and Ashlee Russell are a big help to GloryBound Quartet.you would call her our Manager. She and Ashlee Russell are a big help to GloryBound Quartet.
