Two Blevins graduates came all dressed for a sock hop with their poodle skirts and saddle shoes Saturday evening, June 6, at Hempstead Hall. Everyone seemed to have a great time visiting and eating dinner, which was catered. A silent auction and music from the period was part of the ambience that brought folks back together to reminisce. A good crowd showed up for the event, and many memories were made.

Doyle  and Donna Brewer were treated to a reception for their 40th wedding anniversary on Saturday, June 6, 2015. The couple was married June 6, 1975 and have two children, Daulton and his wife Samantha, and son Dustin. The couple also has three grandchildren. The Brewers plan on an Alaskan cruise, which Doyle suprised Donna with near the end of the reception. Doyle is originally from Mena and Donna is originally from Stamps. They met at SAU in Magnolia.
