Hope For Paws Bake Sale & Adoption Day Ongoing

HOPE – Hope For Paws is holding a bake sale and Adoption Day today, Saturday April 22nd, outside of Atwoods, at the corner of Third and Hervey.

Everything from cakes to pies to cheesecakes to cupcakes and cookies and anything in between are available, with the proceeds going to help those who cannot help themselves. Hope For Paws takes care of the medical needs of the dogs in the Hope Animal Shelter, pulls dogs from the Shelter for adoption, coordinates the spay and neuter clinics and more than ever seen by most of us. They exist in a large part, by donations.

While you’re there, check out the pictures of the dogs who are currently available for adoption – if one tugs at your heartstrings, a Hope For Paws volunteer can tell you about it, before you go to the Shelter for a one-on-one meeting. The Shelter currently has an over abundance of cuteness ready to be your friend ‘fur ever’.

While you’re there picking up goodies, make sure you register for the $100 gift card from Atwoods.

Should you feel especially generous, consider sponsoring a local dog or cat for the next spay and neuter clinic, to be held October 31, November 1st and 2nd. This sponsorship will allow some of our fellow residents to be a responsible pet owner and get their pet neutered.

So head on down to Atwoods and help one of the best causes that can be found!
