An ATV stolen from former State Senator Jim Hill was located as a result of a report published on HopePrescott.com.
Howard County Sheriff Butch Morris reports that Hill’s 2011 Kawasaki Mule was recovered near Hope on Friday, December 28th after someone saw it reported stolen on HopePrescott.com and called the Hope Police Department. A Hope detective contacted Howard County authorities and Howard County Sheriff Butch Morris and Nashville Investigator Larry Marion went to Hope to meet with Hempstead County and Hope officers and retrieve the stolen property.
Sheriff Morris reports that the investigation is continuing with Hempstead County authorities.
The ATV was reported stolen by Senator Hill on Monday, December 24th along with 60 gallons of diesel fuel. The burglary occurred at Hill’s farm south of Nashville.
