Jimmy Richard Hillery

Mr. Jimmy Richard Hillery, age 76, of Prescott, Arkansas, passed away Friday, December 7, 2012, at Wadley Regional Medical Center at Hope. He was born October 16, 1936, in Prescott to Mack and Nadine Hildebrand Hillery. Mr. Hillery was a member of Liberty Church of Nazarene in the Redland Community. He was an avid hunter of coyotes and had a true passion for milking cows and raising pigs. He was preceded in death by his parents and a granddaughter, Malissa Clark.

Mr. Hillery is survived by his wife of 54 years of marriage, Nellie Hawley Hillery, a son, Harley Hillery and wife Mary of Prescott, three daughters, Cecilia and husband John Davis of Prescott, Janice and husband James Birdsong of Prescott, Dorothy and husband James Tyler of Taylor, Arkansas, a brother, William Hillery of Prescott, a sister Nancy and husband Jeryl White of Hurst, Texas, eight grandchildren, Shane Dawson, Richard Dawson, J. D. Hall, Leigh McKamie, Amanda Bearden, Jimmy Mack Hall, Ashley Quidera, Alyssa Andrews and nineteen great grandchildren.

Visitation will be 4:00 to 6:00 pm, Sunday, December 9, 2012, at Brazzel/Cornish The Funeral Home of Prescott.

Funeral service for Mr. Hillery will be 2:00 pm, Monday December 10, 2012, at the Brazzel/Cornish Chapel in Prescott, Rev. Ray Chromer officiating.
