Prescott’s Lady Wolves and Lady Cubs participated in their first meet of the season Saturday at Trinity Christian Schools.
The Lady Wolves finished a strong 5th place overall in the team division, which was won by Texas High.
Leading the Lady Wolves in the race was junior Zoie Otwell(Jr), followed in order by teammates Laura Maxwell(Sr), Abby Wren(Sr), Addi Byers(Jr), Stephane Jones(Jr), Taylor Hodges(Jr), Taylor Tompkins(Jr), and Lexie Ledbetter(Sr).
The Lady Cubs finished 3rd overall in the team standings.
Leading the Lady Cubs in the 1.5 mile race was Freshman Abby Morrow, who medaled 6th individually.
Medalling 7th overall, and right on her teammates heals, was 7th grader Beth Formby.
Rounding out the remainder of Prescott’s top 15 finishers were, in order, Kaelynn Karlovec, Anna Byers, Tori Stigaullde, Anna McKinnon, Abigail Madden, Shaleigh Hodges, Sierra Laws, Jasmine Box, Emily Sullins, Mallory Ledbetter, Jacklyn Wingfield, Mary Kate Beck, and Bobbie Bunnell.
Prescott was represented by Tyler Morrow in the children’s race, who finished 6th overall, and Jamia Smith, who finished 12th overall.
