His home going service will be held will be held Saturday January 5, 2013 at 1:30 PM at St Paul Baptist Church in his home town of Bradley, Arkansas. The final resting place for his earthly body will be in St Mary Cemetery Bradley, AR. Pastor Tony Law will be officiating, with professional arrangements by Brandon’s Mortuary, Inc.
On march 19, 1937 in Marlin, Texas the late Willie White Jones and Bernice V. Johnson Jones celebrated the birth of a baby boy named Larry Jones. Look back at the life of Larry Jones, we can only give thanks for the many lives he touched and enriched along his journey.
Larry attended Booker T. Washington School. Before he moved to Dallas, Texas where he met and married the love of his life the lovely late Nettie Iola Donwar. He was of the Methodist faith. Larry spent most of his life in Dallas, Texas where he pursued his lifelong passion of cooking by opening his own restaurant.
Larry left his earthly home Thursday, December 27, 2012 in Cleburne, Texas in the comfort of his home.
Larry was predeceased by his loving wife, his parents and two brothers: Willie Johnson and Donnie Jones; two sisters: Adell Timms and Glendine Mitchell.
