Jay Kopecky of Hope won the Kindle Fire given away by the Hempstead County Library in a drawing on Wednesday, December 19th.
Library users could put their name in the drawing once per day that they came into the library, and one time each for getting a friend to like the library’s Facebook page.
Library Director Courtney McNiel says the library received over 300 entries in the drawing.
She wants to thank Amigo Juan’s Mexican Cafe for donating the Kindle Fire for the drawing.
When asked what he planned to do first with his new Kindle, Kopecky replied, “Learn how to use it.”
