Linda Sue Dunavin

Linda Sue Dunavin, 56, of Fayetteville passed away February 11, 2012 in Fayetteville. She was born September 21, 1955 in Melbourne, AR  (Izard County) the daughter of James Robert and Johnie Sue Gaston Dunavin. 

She was a graduate of Arkansas State University with a masters degree in Reading Education with having taught in Lake City Public Schools, Hope Public Schools and Pulaski County Special School District.

She was preceded in death by her father in 1992 and brother, James Robert Dunavin, Jr. in 1998.

Survivors include her husband, Dr. Matthew Cheadle of the home; 2-children, Christopher Dunavin Cheadle who completed Law School at the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville, and now in a Fellowship Program in City Planning at the University of Memphis  and Carmen Diane Cheadle who graduated from Fayetteville High School and now attends University of Colorado in Boulder, CO with studies in Humanity, Film and French Foreign Language Studies. Her mother, Johnie Sue Gaston Dunavin, a retired nurse who remains in her home in Melbourne, AR.

Memorial Service in Melbourne, AR will be arranged for the near future.

Local arrangements are by Beard’s Funeral Chapel in Fayetteville.
