Compared to two weeks ago: Feeder steers unevenly steady. Feeder heifers2.00-5.00 lower. Slaughter cows 2.00-5.00 higher. Slaughter bulls steady. Quality was average to plain. Yearling type cattle still selling well. Fleshy new crop calves are becoming more numerous and being discounted. Supply included: 71% Feeder Cattle (45% Steers, 43% Heifers, 12% Bulls); 29% Slaughter Cattle (87% Cows, 13% Bulls). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 12%.
