Compared to two weeks ago: Feeder steers under 400 lbs. 8.00-12.00 lower; over 400 lbs. unevenly steady. Feeder heifers under 600 lbs. 2.00-4.00 lower; over 600 lbs. 1.00-4.00 higher. Slaughter cows 3.00-7.00 lower. Slaughter bulls 2.00-3.00 lower. Quality was average. Slaughter cattle were softer with a limited number of receipts. Feeder cattle were in good demand with new crop bull calves being heavily discounted. Supply included: 88% Feeder Cattle (38% Steers, 50% Heifers, 12% Bulls); 12% Slaughter Cattle (77% Cows, 23% Bulls). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 22%.
