Maggie Desperately Needing A Home

HOPE – Maggie, the infamous “Tabs dog” who singlehandedly raised a litter of ten and eluded capture for weeks is now in dire circumstances, as she is facing being put down Monday.

Maggie, or Magpie as she’s often called, has been on her own for so long that she is really isn’t a “people dog”, but isn’t aggressive either. The staff of the Hope Animal Shelter has worked continuously with her, yet she’s only playful at feeding time. She needs a home with room for her to stay to herself, if she wants to be, and a family with patience to let her acclimate on her own schedule. She needs that home now.

Magpie is in good health and heart worm negative. Her adoption fee is $85, which includes all vetting; the adoption fee MAY be waived for the right person!
