Martha Stroud Vines 78, of Hope, Arkansas passed away Wednesday, February 15, 2012 in Hope, Arkansas.

She was born June 09, 1933 in Hope, Arkansas to George Benjamin and Pauline Verie House Stroud.

Martha was a member of Garrett Memorial Church and Medical Park Auxiliary. She was a retired LPN, loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

Mrs. Vines was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Vines and her mother and father.

She is survived by one son, William R. Vines and wife Allie of Hope, Arkansas; one daughter, Nancy D. Simmons and husband Keith of Hope, Arkansas; one brother, George R. Stroud and wife Donnie of Hope, Arkansas; grandchildren, Joshua Simmons and wife Kaci, Cory Simmons, Jacob Simmons, Corey T. Stout and Jeremy Stout; great grandchild, Keegan Simmons; three sister-in-laws and nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Friday, February 17, 2012 between the hours of 6-8 pm at Herndon-Pharr Funeral Home.

Services will be Saturday, February 18, 2012 at 10:00 am in The Garrett Memorial Baptist Church with Bro. Cliff Johnson and Bro. Larry Silvey officiating under the direction of Herndon-Pharr Funeral Home. Interment in Bodcaw #1 Cemetery, Bodcaw, Arkansas.
