A Memphis truck driver was killed in a one-vehicle accident on I-30 near Friday morning near Fulton. Joshua L. Trask, 36, was westbound in a 2011 International 18-wheeler around 6:30 a.m. when his truck veered into the median before crashing into a concrete embankment and catching on fire.
Trask was pronounced dead at the scene at 8:05 a.m. by Miller County Coroner Eddie Hawkins.
It was raining at the time of the accident and the roadway was wet. Two other minor passenger car accidents occurred at almost the very same moment in that same area of I-30.
The accident was investigated by Corporal John E. Rhone of the Arkansas State Police.
