Mrs. Tommie “Momma” Byrd

tommieMrs. Tommie “Momma” Byrd, age 100 of Spring Hill, Arkansas passed away Monday, February 20, 2017, in a local hospital. She was born in Dickens, Texas on February 14, 1917 to Tom and Ida Magnolia Evans Epting. She was a retired real estate broker and a member of Spring Hill United Methodist Church in Spring Hill. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, of 71 years, Bill Byrd, Sr, a son, Jim Byrd, two brothers and one sister.

Survivors include; a son; Bill Byrd, Jr, wife, Norma of Hope, a daughter-in-law, Mary Byrd of Spring Hill, five grandchildren: John Byrd of Hope, Kristy Murch, husband, Scott of Bentonville, AR, Bren Yocom, husband, Jody of Spring Hill, Shelly Byrd (Chris Short) of Hope, and Marissa Wilson, husband, Layne of Spring Hill, ten great-grandchildren: Jessi Murch (Zack), and Ashley Murch all of Bentonville, AR, Carter Yocom (Lauren Kidd), Bailey Yocom, Maicyn Yocom, Slade Cox, Sloan Byrd, Salem Short, Max Sinyard and Trevor Sinyard all of Spring Hill, Arkansas and numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Visitation will be from 1:00 to 2:00pm, Saturday, February 25, 2017 at Brazzel/Oakcrest The Funeral Home 1001 South Main St. Hope, AR.

A Memorial Service will be 2:00pm, Saturday, February 25, 2017 at Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home. Rev.
