Parade kicks off NC Fair
By Staff, 09/11/19 9:54 AMPRESCOTT – East Second St. South was blocked Tuesday afternoon for the annual Nevada County Fair Parade.
The parade basically went from Central Baptist to the City Park, but this didn’t matter as the street was lined with people on hand to watch, and gather candy thrown from the vehicles.
There wasn’t many floats entered, as the bulk of the parade consisted of pageant contestants.
The livestock sale appreciation dinner has been moved inside the Potlatch Building this year because of the extreme heat being predicted for Thursday. The premium sale will be held in the arena after the dinner.
Things come to an end with the annual rodeo, set to start at 7 p.m.
