Pennington’s take fishing tourney

PRESCOTT – The Prescott High School Bass Team recently competed in the Arkansas Youth Fishing Association Lake Greeson Open.

Bryer Pennington and brother, Brody, took first place in the Senior High Division. The Pennington brothers weighed in a whopping 15.25 lbs bag of bass to take the win against 40 other teams from across the state. Bryer and Brody are currently ranked third in the state.

Jack Arnette and Carter Neal took home 4th in the Jr Division with 9.77 lbs of bass. These two are currently ranked fourth in the state in the Jr. Division.

The Prescott High School Bass Team has six teams that participate in tournaments. There are over 120 teams, 240 students, participating in high school fishing.
