The School Resource Officer for the Prescott School District now has a sharp looking cruiser to do his work. Police Chief Bryan Russell says his department teamed with Orr Chevrolet, Prosecuting Attorney Christi McQueen and the City of Prescott to purchase and outfit the 2007 Dodge Charger for SRO David Stovall.
The car was unveiled Tuesday morning with its new graphic striping that was partially designed by the Prescott High School EAST students and applied to the car by Becky Hood with Hope Graphics. The design features a Curley Wolf and maroon stripes.
Chief Russell says it’s wonderful to see everyone coming together to show pride in the community and school. “The SRO Cruiser represents the school’s spirit and embodies the whole Prescott School District to show the pride we have in the staff and student body,” says Russell.
He says the cruiser will be used for the benefit of the whole student body in athletics and academics. The chief says this is a result of the Prescott Police Department partnering with the school to create a safe and drug-free environment.
