Sandra Reyenga Rodgers announces her bid for reelection as Hempstead County Clerk.
Sandra is married to Danny Rodgers and they have 2 adult children, Damian and Whitney. She is the daughter of the late James and Elsie Reyenga, and a lifelong resident of Hempstead and Nevada Counties.
"I would like to thank the citizens of Hempstead County for electing me to serve as your current County Clerk. It is an honor and a privilege to be able to serve my community in this capacity. My staff and I have worked hard to bring continued updates to the Clerk's office. This year, we purchased imaging software, scanners and printers and updated our marriage license software. Although we purchased the imaging software primarily for our probate records, we can also scan and index most of the records in our office and the data is backed-up and stored offsite."
"This has been an extremely busy year due to redistricting, which changed not only political boundaries but also precinct boundaries. We are finishing up the daunting task of changing the precincts and precinct parts and moving the streets, street segments and voters to the new boundaries. As soon as that process is finished and approved by the State, we will be mailing out almost 8,000 new voter registration cards to active voters. Due to the many changes, I am asking that each voter review the card and contact my office with any questions."
"I would like to personally thank Catherine Cook for loaning us Darrell Allen, the city's GIS Director. We could not have completed this project without him. His new title is GIS Hero. Also, I would like to thank our Hempstead County Election Commission for all their hard work and last, but certainly not least, I would like to thank my staff. They have stayed late and worked diligently to complete the redistricting project."
"I greatly appreciate all of your support and prayers in the past and I now ask for your continued support and prayers in my effort to serve the great citizens of Hempstead County as your County Clerk."
Rodgers served in the Arkansas House of Representatives from 1997-2003 until termlimited. |
