Brent Talley
Democrat Brent Talley has won the election for State Representative District 3 with a total of 5032 (54.1%) votes to Republican Sharon Wright’s total of 4275 (45.9%) votes.
In Hempstead County Talley totalled 3559 votes to Wright’s 2978 votes.
Talley received a total of 1473 votes in Nevada County to Wright’s 1297.
Talley will replace David “Bubba” Powers who was prevented from seeking re-election due to term limits.
