Talmage Lee “Bud” Watson, 85, of Hope, AR passed away Thursday, March 2, 2017 at his home.

Mr. Watson was born December 22, 1931, in Vilmore, TX to Verdie Talmage and Ophelia Heckler Watson. He was a self employed carpenter and was a sweet father and husband.

He was preceded in death by his mother and father; sister Frankie.

Survivors are his wife of 65 years Rose Rowe Watson of the home; two sons, Rodney Watson (Shirley) and Dennis Watson both of Hope, AR; daughter Melissa Watson of Hope, AR; two brothers, Gene Watson of Bakersfield, CA, James Watson of Livingston, TX; two sisters, Patricia Lester of California and Ruthie Jernigan of Michigan.

Visitation will be 11:00am-1:00pm, Saturday, March 4, 2017 at Herndon Pharr Funeral Home, 403 South Main, Hope, AR, with graveside services to follow at 2:00pm in the Sweet Home Cemetery, Blevins, AR, with Marvin Skipper officiating, under the direction of Herndon Pharr Funeral Home of Hope, AR.
