Thomas Carrol Cranford, 88, of Texarkana, AR, formerly of Hope, AR, died Saturday, February 18, 2012, at his home. He was born November 13, 1923, in Diaz, AR. He was retired from Bruner-Ivory Handle Company, a member of First Assembly of God Church, Hope, AR, and was a United States Naval Air Force veteran of World War II.

He is survived by his wife, Frances Cranford; one daughter and son-in-law, Carol and Ron Walker; one brother, O.T. Cranford; two grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and a number of other relatives.

Graveside services were held at 1:00 P.M. on Monday, February 20, 2012, at Chapelwood Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Jerry Crane officiating. Burial was under the direction of Chapelwood Funeral Home.

The family received friends from 3-5 P.M. on Sunday, February 19, 2012, at Chapelwood Funeral Home.
