Two injured in wreck

PRESCOTT – Two people were injured in a two-vehicle accident Friday morning.

The wreck was reported around 11:30 a.m. concerning the collision of a Ford and Honda sedan on Highway 67 just past the Nubbin Hill exit. According to preliminary reports from Antonio May, with the Arkansas State Police, the Honday, driven by John Jackson, 79, of Prescott was heading north on Hwy. 67 and was turning into his driveway. However, he turned in front of the vehicle being driven by Mark Black, 60, of Hope, and southbound on he highway.

Both  men were injured in the wreck. The initial call was for extrication equipment, which proved  to be  unnecessary.  The Nevada County Rescue Unit, Nevada Count Ambulance Service and Nevada County Sheriff’s Office all responded to the scene. No citations were issued.
