Mrs. Vernie Watson 79, of Hope, Arkansas passed away Friday, December 28, 2012 in Hope, Arkansas. Mrs. Watson was born April 6, 1933 in Mesa, Arizona to J. T. and Lena Randeau Brooks.
Vernie was preceded in death by her husband, Otis Watson; one daughter, Sybil Morrow; two sons, Tony Watson and Keith Watson and one brother, Tom Brooks.
She is survived by one son, Jerry Watson and special daughter in law Tina of Hope, Arkansas; two sisters, Sue Yeiser and Mary Winter; several grand children, several great grand children and several great great grandchildren; and also her extended family and staff at Heather Manor.
Visitation will be Sunday, December 30, 2012 at Herndon-Pharr Funeral Home between the hours of 4-6 pm.
Services will be Monday, December 31, 2012 at 10:00 am in the Herndon-Pharr Chapel with Chris Bradley officiating, interment to follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Herndon-Pharr Funeral Home.
