The Wolves moved another step toward the state championship Friday night as they moved pass Mayflower with ease. For the second week in a row Prescott caused the mercy rule to take effect at the beginning of the second half and ended beating the Eagles 69 to 24.
Prescott now advances to the quarter finals and, for a change, will be on the road for a playoff match-up against the Greenland Pirates. That’s a long road trip for the Curley Wolves with Greenland being just south of Fayetteville. If Prescott wins this Friday night they’ll take on the winner of the Charleston-Glen Rose game.
However, the Wolves are putting on impressive performances week after week and really need a good home following to Greenland. Make plans to take the family to the game and make some noise cheering on the Curley Wolves!
