Zell Marie Carrigan, age 73 of Washington, AR, passed away Saturday, November 24, 2012, in Little Rock. She was born June 28, 1939 in Washington, AR.
Mrs. Carrigan was a member Macedonia Baptist Church and graduated from Lincoln High School in Washington, AR and after graduation continued her studies at Lee’s Cosmetology School of South Bend, IN. She was employed at Champion Parts until she retired.
She is survived by four children Jeffrey Porter & Felix Carrigan of Washington, AR, Chris Carrigan (Jeanette) and Ramona Mitchell of Little Rock, AR;
three sisters Annie Bell Poindexter, Washington, AR, Georgia Wheeler (Leugene) Hope, AR and Vernice Stuart (Lee Vern) of Lawton OK, a twin brother Zane Porter of Detroit, MI, six grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held 11am-5pm, family hour 6-7pm Friday at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held 11am Saturday, December 8, 2012 at Macedonia Baptist Church in Columbus with burial will be at Westmoreland Cemetery in Fulton.
