McNab sets election

MCNAB – The McNab City Council has voted to refer a local sales tax to a vote of the people in November.

At the July 19th McNab City Council meeting, the council approved ordinances referring to voters a proposal for a one and-a-half (1.5) cent sales and use tax to be placed on the ballot in November.

Mayor James T. Conway said if the tax is approved, it would go to maintenance and use by the city.
