41st Annual Watermelon Shirts

HOPE- The Chamber of Commerce now has the 2017 Watermelon Festival shirts available in a variety of colors and sizes. Miss Hempstead County 2017, Samantha Bobo came in to model the new shirts and is now ready for the 41st Annual Hope Watermelon Festival with her choice of the red shirt.

This years festival will begin on August 10 and last through August 12 with special events happening each day. Events will include the Watermelon Idol, Little Miss and Mister Watermelon Pageant, seed spiting contest, and more! To end the festivities a performance from the multi platinum selling artist, with over 20 top 10 singles and 12 number 1 hits hit songs such as “Pickup Man” and “John Deere Green” Joe Diffie will be performing Saturday night at Hempstead Hall.

The shirts for this years festival were designed by Inked Threads along with Southern Printing located in downtown Hope. Shirts are available in dark teal, royal blue, and red. The specialty shirts this year will be blue. There will also be lime green tanks. To get your 41st Annual Hope Watermelon Festival Shirt visit the Hempstead County Chamber.
