New seating tested at Nevada Open House

ROSSTON – Open House was held for patrons of the Nevada School District Tuesday evening, with the place packed.

Patrons visited classrooms, met teachers and got schedules. However, they also took the opportunity to check out the new bleachers in the gym, which were replaced over the summer. The new seating is similar to that of Bud Walton Arena in Fayetteville. All of the seats have backs and most will have cup holders. The Blue Jay logo will be on the end seats when the work is completed. The visitor side bleachers got a new coat of royal blue paint as well.
